David and Paula Mapp

In 1973 at Abundant Life Church in Pasadena, Texas,
David was ordained to preach the gospel.

A few years later he met and married Paula in Palestine,
Texas.

They committed their family to the Lord and started on
a great adventure…7 children and 6 grandchildren later,
they are convinced that knowing Jesus Christ is the key
to true happiness!

 You are great in counsel and mighty in work, for your eyes are open
to all the ways of  the sons of men, to give everyone according to
his ways and according to the fruit of his doing.
                                                                     Jeremiah  32:19

Along the way, they were taught and encouraged by some wonderful
Christians, who took the time to get to know them and speak into
their lives.

They have served as pastors and various teaching, and helps
capacities in churches through the years, learning and growing
and loving and leading those that God gave to them.

They met Bud and Rita McDonald in the
late 90s and began attending the McDonald’s
home church in Muldoon, Texas.
 The Lord drew their hearts together and Bud
& Rita asked David & Paula to be on the board
of the Sower.
 They accepted and began to serve.

David worked as a retail lumber store manager for over 20 years.
 In 2007 the Lord led him to retire from retail and begin his own
business, which has freed him up to travel with Scott to Mexico,
which has been a long time desire for David.

David and Paula serve in their local church, and are busy loving
their family, serving in the church, and  looking forward to the future,
with a desire to teach and help others reach their full potential in
what God has called them to do.
